Changes Effective April 1, 2016
The California Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH) has released new final regulations, effective April 1, 2016, that address (among other things) pregnancy and sexual harassment under the state Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA).

It is with a sad heart that we inform you  of the untimely passing of our colleague and one of PARMA's great supporters David Rendeiro in the afternoon of Thursday, May 21, 2015.  Dave was a long time employee of Keenan and Associates as well as a participant in several PARMA conference planning sessions and the Southern California chapter.  He was a friendly face in the conference exhibit hall and many social functions.  His dedication to PARMA and the Risk Management profession will be sorely missed.  

We have some exciting news!  After completing our strategic plan and identifying some important areas for growth, PARMA is excited to announce that for the first time, we have contracted for an Executive Director. Gloria Peterson has joined team PARMAand will guide our organization through the changes outlined in our strategic plan (hyperlink). Gloria is a partner with Advocacy & Management Group, Inc.
