Job Title: Risk and Insurance Administrator
The City of Pasadena is seeking a skilled, diligent and energetic Risk and Insurance Administrator who will provide excellent service to internal and external customers. The qualified candidate will have the distinct opportunity to manage the day-to-day management of government tort claims and recovery activities as well as make sure the City is properly insured. Additionally, they will work closely with both the Workers Compensation Division and the Safety Division of the Human Resources Department. The ideal candidate should have a command of handling insurance and claims matters, enjoy planning and organizing a wide variety of risk management activities, supervising a capable Insurance and Claims Specialist and developing cooperative relationships.
•Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Business law, Economics or related field.
•Four years in the administration and supervision of a risk and claims management program preferably in a local government agency.
