Job Title: Administration Analyst II

Job Description 

Under the direct supervision of the Administration Manager, the Administration Analyst II provides high level administrative support including preparation of agendas, staff reports, minutes, and other relevant documents. The Analyst II performs complex analysis and overall management and coordination of administrative tasks and projects.

Job Requirements 

• Prepares staff reports and related documents, proposals, minutes and agendas, and assures timely distribution and postings;
• Coordinates meetings and retreats and on occasion travels to client and/or service provider meetings;
• Coordinates meeting activities and takes minutes in accordance with the Ralph M. Brown Act requirements and coordinates orientation trainings;
• Maintains and oversees client task lists from client meetings;
• Develops presentations and training materials; Creates, updates, and maintains files and records including client websites;
• Initiates timely state filings for financial statements, budgets, Statement of Facts, contractual agreements, and conflict of interest; and issues annual certificate renewals;
• Acts as main contact for all client-related issues; and responds in a timely manner to requests from clients, coworkers, service providers and others;
• Gathers, coordinates, and interprets underwriting data;
• Prepares underwriting recommendations to be presented to clients;
• Explains processes and coverages to clients;
• Submits requests for addition of members to brokers and excess insurance carriers;
• Performs and oversees industry accreditation process;
• Prepares and distributes reports, newsletters, client information, advisories, etc.;
• Effectively communicates with colleagues; and
• Performs other tasks upon request.
