The Deputy Risk Manager will provide leadership in planning, program development and administration, systems and work processes; share with the Director of Risk Management the task of developing and implementing the City's Enterprise Risk Management system; coordinate Alternative Insurance Programs; work with the Controller's Office and City Attorney's office on claims management; review a variety of complex,difficult, high monetary documents as to compliance with best risk management and insurance practices; develop a disaster process and recovery plan for the Office of Risk Management |

| Education: |
Possession of a bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Public Administration, Management, Risk Management or other closely related program from an accredited institution of higher education with specialized coursework in insurance program management and insurance claims and adjucation, safety and loss prevention or related field. |
