| Job Description: |
The Los Angeles County Employees Retirement Association (LACERA) is seeking a Director, Retiree Health Care Benefits. Headquartered in Pasadena, California, this organization administers and manages the retirement fund of Los Angeles County – the largest county retirement system in the nation. This position provides oversight of health care benefits provided to approximately 50,000 retirees and beneficiaries. LACERA is recognized nationally for establishing best practices in the industry, with their operations continually modeled by other retirement associations. This key leadership position, reporting to the Assistant Executive Officer, contributes to the overall success and financial health of the organization. The ideal candidate will have exceptionally strong interpersonal skills with a strong commitment to a collaborative working environment. Experience in the public sector is strongly preferred, although candidates working in the private sector with demonstrated experience working with public agencies are considered strong candidates for consideration |
